The Sweetness is an indie pop song by singer songwriter Sean T. MacLeod. Its extra catchy sing-along melody, coated with a deliciously sweet guitar riff, makes for an irresistible piece of pop music, while the lyrics, of a character lost in the illusions and confusions of the modern world, add some substance to its overall pop sensibility.

While the song (The Sweetness) was written in another life time, while MacLeod was with his band Cisco in the early 2000s and was actually demoed with the band for their No1 album, it is finally being released as a single. Deservedly so. The song was recorded at Westland studios, Dublin.
